Definition
anabin is Germany's reference database used to check whether a foreign university and qualification are recognised for German evaluation purposes. Applicants and employers commonly use it as an early screening tool before deciding whether a separate ZAB Statement of Comparability is required. In practical immigration work, anabin is often the first stop for degree-based routes such as the EU Blue Card and some skilled-worker permits.
