Definition
The Intra-Corporate Transfer (ICT) permit, governed by EU Directive 2014/66/EU, allows companies established outside the EU to temporarily transfer certain employees to EU member state entities within the same corporate group. Eligible categories are managers, specialists, and trainees. The permit duration is up to three years for managers and specialists, and one year for trainees. After 90 days in one member state, ICT permit holders may continue their transfer to another member state under a mobile ICT permit.
